Abstract

Professional papers of Colin G. Drury, SUNY Distinguished Professor Emeritus of industrial engineering at the University at Buffalo. Mainly consists of copies and reprints of Drury's writing, research materials, and photographs. A significant portion of the collection, including teaching materials, documentation of participation in professional conferences and projects, and records of the Research Institute for Safety and Security in Transportation are in digital format.

Abstract

Materials collected by Dr. Adeline Levine, Department of Sociology, State University of New York at Buffalo, for her book Love Canal: Science, Politics and People, published by Lexington Books in 1982. This collection includes a copy of the Quit Claim Deed, dated April 28, 1953, in which land was transferred from Hooker Electrochemical to the Niagara Falls Board of Education for the sum of $1.

Scope and Contents This series is organized into five record groups: (1) Memorabilia, (2) Photographs, (3) Reference Materials, (4) Scrapbook Clippings, and (5) Presentation Documents relating to (a) the University at Buffalo, (b) other miscellaneous organizations, (c) audiovisual materials.Record group 1 contains a memorial service pamphlet, and University at Buffalo Law School ephemera.
