Papers of Kenneth Eckhert as the editor of the University of Buffalo student newspaper, The Bee, 1930-1931, and as editor of the Medentian, the magazine of the Medical and Dental Schools of the University of Buffalo, 1932-1933, and later papers, 1941-1949, 1954-1955, as the faculty advisor to the Medentian. Nechasek while he served with the Graduate Student Association, the materials consist to newspaper articles, prepared addresses, written accounts, and GSA promotional pieces.
New York State Freedom Train collection
Collection includes a scrapbook with newspaper articles from a variety of local newspapers in New York State chronicling the visit of the New York State Freedom Train in their communities. Also included are a typewritten diary documenting the train's stops (about 90 leaves) and a group photograph with President Harry S. Truman.
