Citizen's Task Force on Racism papers
This collection contains the papers kept by Citizen's Task Force on Racism member and University at Buffalo History professor, David Gerber. Judge John T. Curtin files Re: Arthur v. Nyquist
John T. Curtin, Chief Judge of the U.S. Federal District Court, Western District of New York, presided over the lawsuit Arthur v. Nyquist brought by plaintiffs to desegregate the Buffalo Public Schools in Buffalo, New York from the 1970s through the 1990s. Collection includes correspondence with individuals and attorneys as well as internal office memos.
David Diamond papers
This collection consists of materials documenting David Diamond's activities in local government, Diamond's career at the State University of New York at Buffalo Law School and matters of personal interest to Diamond. The latter material includes regarding the Nuremberg trials following World War II and a transcript of a speech given by Diamond opposing the tactics of Senator Joseph McCarthy.
