The series is organized into three record groups: (1) Authored Periodical Articles (2) Magazine and Newspaper Clippings and (3) Authored Law Journal Scholarship Documents. Information contained in the series includes publications authored by, and written about, Mr. Herald Price Fahringer. Materials include newspaper and magazine clippings, as well as scholarly journal articles and essays.

Record group 1 record group consists of articles authored by Mr. Fahringer and published in law periodicals, as well as interviews and book reviews. Record group 2 consists of clippings from popular periodicals concerning Mr. Fahringer’s cases. Record group 3 consists of law essays authored by Mr. Fahringer and published by various law associations. The various law associations include: The New York State Bar Association; The New York State Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers; The New York Law Journal; miscellaneous scholarship. Some scholarship is bound. Record group 1 is arranged alphabetically by publication. Record group 2 is arranged alphabetically by topic. Record group 3 is arranged alphabetically by publication.
