Kenneth Warren collection
Scope and Contents
The Kenneth Warren collection consists of materials related to the work of Kenneth Warren with the majority related to the journal House Organ. House Oran Issues series includes submitted manuscripts, notes, and drafts of House Organ. Series I is located in boxes 1, 2, and 10. Correspondence includes manuscripts and letters located in boxes 3-10. Notes/Works includes hand written notes, note cards, notebooks, research material, drafts of Kenneth Warren's writings, work at the Lakewood Public Library, astrology charts, and index cards with notes. The majority of Series III is housed in boxes 2, 10, and 11. Index cards are located in boxes 12-15.

Biographical Note
Kenneth Warren was born January 16, 1953 in New York City. In 1984 Ken Warren moved to Lakewood, Ohio where he would take on the position of director of the Lakewood Public Library. Ken Warren wrote many poetry books include The Wandering Boy, From Buffalo Out, Nowhere Man, The Rap on the Door, Love Train, Cauldron Poems, OASii Broadside Series, Letter to Kenneth, Charles Olsen’s Grail of Intuition, and Captain Poetry’s Sucker Punch: a guide to the Homeric Punkhole. Ken Warren co-authored/edited the book the Whole Song with Vincent Ferrini. From 1993 to 2015 Ken Warren edited and published a journal of poetry and prose called House Organ. House Organ featured submissions from Black Mountain, Beat, and New American poets as well as poetry from lesser known poets. Kenneth Warren passed away on May 21, 2015.

Abstract
The Kenneth Warren collection consists of materials related to the work of Kenneth Warren with the majority related to the journal House Organ. Kenneth Warren was the editor and publisher of the poetry journal House Organ as well as the director of Lakewood Public Library. The collection includes correspondence, manuscripts, drafts, and other related materials.
Arrangement
The collection is arranged into three series: I.House Organ Issues, II. Correspondence , and III. Notes/works.
Series I is arranged by House Organ issue number. Series II. Correspondence is arranged alphabetically by last name. Series III is arranged by material type.
Acquisition Information
The initial donation of the Kenneth Warren collection to the Poetry collection was by Beckett Warren in August 2015. Five boxes were gifted to the Poetry collection by Robert Podgurski in November 2016
