The K.S. Ernst Collection (1965-2016) contains original dimensional work of visual poetry, works on paper, prints of digital work, and prints of images of work, as well as catalogs of her work. Included in the descriptions of pieces are the catalog numbers that reference Ernst's very detailed catalogs of her work.

Historical Note
K.S. Ernst has been writing poetry and making art since the 1960s. Her pieces span visual poetry, digital art, and fine art, incorporating sculpture, multimedia, works on paper, artists’ books, painting, fiber arts, and digital works.
Ernst has shown her work nationally and internationally including shows at the Minnesota Center for Book Arts, the Berkeley Art Center, Las Cruces Museum of Fine Art, The Center for Book Arts, Rutgers University, The Nave Gallery, and her art is included in collections such as the Ohio State University Collection of Avant Garde and Experimental Writing, The Museum of Modern Art in New York City, and the Beinecke Library’s American Literature Collection at Yale University, as well as private collections such as The Ruth and Marvin Sackner Archive of Concrete and Visual Poetry. Her work has been published in books and magazines including Poetry magazine and Photo Techniques magazine.
Ernst has also participated in artist residencies, lectures, and performances with the Be Blank Consort, and she runs Press Me Close, which publishes books, postcards, and T-shirts of visual poetry.

Place Stamp Here (catalog #12901), issues 0-4 (1983-1985), and Manglar: 01/02 poétique à bascule (catalog # 12990.056) (2002) were removed to the Poetry Collection's periodicals collection.
