The Mica Collection contains manuscripts from such contributors as Carol Bergé, Charles Bukowski, Larry Eigner, J. H. Prynne, and Gael Turnbull; business records including receipts, addresses, announcements, and illustrations; Raymond Federman and Helmut Bonheim's editorial correspondence with writers like Ted Enslin, Ian Hamilton Finlay, Clayton Eshleman, Marvin Bell, Cid Corman, Tom Raworth, Denise Levertov, and Robert Creeley; and miscellaneous photographs and peripherals.

Historical Note
Raymond Federman and Helmut Bonheim published seven issues of Mica in Santa Barbara, CA between December 1960 and March 1962. Modeled after Gael Turnbull's magazine Migrant, Mica published "sections of letters, journals, notes, [and] remarks" as well as fiction and poetry by such English and American writers as Ian Hamilton Finlay, Gael Turnbull, Leslie Daiken, Tom Raworth, J. H. Prynne, Larry Eigner, Robert Creeley, Denise Levertov, Ted Enslin, and Charles Bukowski.
