Scope and Contents Series VII consists of clippings, correspondence, diplomas, drawings, lectures, notes, photographs, and publications detailing J.J. Polivka's works and related research. Many publications in this series are authored by J.J. Polivka. Of notable interest are the materials concerning Polivka's work with Frank Lloyd Wright, and the Butterfly Bridge in San Francisco. The material was arranged according to the organization of the original owner, with additional arrangement applied to allow for access.

Overview Papers of J.J. Polivka, internationally renowned Czechoslovakian structural engineer. Collection documents his collaboration with Frank Lloyd Wright on many of Wright's later projects including the Guggenheim Museum, and the proposed Butterfly Bridge. Collection consists of correspondence, clippings, drawings, publications, photographs and photograph negatives.
