The ECHO records include newsletters (1970-78), project files, newspaper clippings, correspondence, financial records, photographs, annual reports (1972-78) and administrative records (1970-77).

REP files include primarily newspaper clippings, periodical articles, and correspondence concerning paper reuse.

Abstract Established in 1970 as an environmental information center primarily for the Western New York area, the Environmental Clearing House Organization collection was housed at the Buffalo Museum of Science and the Science and Engineering Library before being transferred to the University Archives in 1984.
