A collection of bound Master’s theses directed by Gunter R. Schmitz, 1991-1997.

Biographical Note

Gunter Schmitz taught architecture at the Hochschule fur Gestaltung, Ulm Germany, 1961-67; in 1965 and from 1969 until 1972 he was on the faculty at Texas A & M University; he joined the faculty at the State University of New York at Buffalo in 1972, retiring in 1997. He served as chair of the Dept. of Architecture, 1973-82, and director's of the department's Advanced Building Technology Graduate Program, 1982-89. He played a major role in developing the architecture program in the School of Architecture and Planning with his pioneering work on modular construction and integrated design being influential in shaping the curriculum.
