John A. Edens was a librarian at Emory University, the University of Georgia, and the State University of New York at Buffalo from 1964 to 2012. He was co-editor of Research libraries and their implementation of AACR2 (1986) and compiler of Eleanor Roosevelt: a comprehensive bibliography (1994).
