Scope and Contents

This collection consists of records of the University at Buffalo Council and includes documentation on council members, council committees, commissions, correspondence, meeting materials, policies and other miscellaneous council matters.

This collection is notable for its documentation on the naming of North (Amherst) Campus buildings by the University Council Committee.

University Council records (Part II) are open to researchers with the exception of folders 4.6-5.20. These membership records contain personally identifiable information and are restricted. See archivist for access.

The University Council records was transferred to University Archives by the University at Buffalo Office of the President, November, 2009.
