Memos, schedules, and notes concerning the State University as a System: Integration or Autonomy? A Conference on the Philosophy and Issues of Transfer Access held at the Center for Tomorrow at the University at Buffalo on December 8-9, 1988. The conference was partially funded by the Ford Foundation.
Also includes a draft final report regarding a State University of New York awarded grant by the Ford Foundation. The thirty month project was to "improve transfer and articulation from community colleges to four-year colleges within the SUNY system, with a special emphasis on minority students" (3/4/1374, Ford Project Final Report draft).

State University as a System: Integration or Autonomy? A Conference on the Philosophy and Issues of Transfer Access records were accessioned with College of Arts and Sciences records of the 75th Anniversary Celebration, 3/4/847, in March 1995 from the Office of the Dean of Undergraduate Education as accession 95-009. Materials were separated from the 3/4/847 and stored in the University Archives vertical file.
In April 2019, these materials were removed from the vertical file to form this collection.
