Scope and Contents
The collection contains material regarding Selig Adler's studies at the University of Buffalo (1928-1931), including notes on courses taught by Julius Pratt and Nathaniel Cantor. The collection also includes material from Adler's graduate work at the University of Illinois (1931-1934), including notes on immigration history taught by Marcus Corson. Notes, drafts and copies of Adler's research on American foreign policy, isolationism, and United States-Israel relations is also in the collection. Documentation from Adler's career at the State University of New York at Buffalo includes information on the History Department, the Faculty Senate Committee on Educational Policy and Planning (1960-1963), and the Search Committee for a Dean of the School of Library and Information Science.
