Scope and Contents
Papers are arranged in three series. Series I consists of correspondence and clippings related to Garver's involvement with the Feinberg Law, which required New York State employees to sign an anti-Communist loyalty oath. Series II consists of correspondence, clippings, newsletters, ephemera, and other documents relating to Quaker meetings in Buffalo and New York state. It also includes materials on the Easter Pilgrimage, Quaker Project on Violence, and Quaker Project on Community Conflict. Series III, separately accessioned from the other series in the collection, contains correspondence arranged alphabetically by correspondent, as well as miscellaneous files on various subjects, including Garver's original poetry and philosophical writings.
