Scope and Contents

Series XIII. Additional material, 1982-2018 contains records created by the Buffalo Branch of the American Association of University Women between 1982 and 2018, but primarily from the late 1980s through 2018. The majority of the records document the administrative functions of the organization and its members, such as rosters and directories, and publications about the efforts of the organization in research, advocacy, and philanthropy. The AAUW Buffalo Branch is well-known for its annual book sale. This series contains photographs, notebooks, news clippings, correspondence, and printed material of books sales from 2003 to 2018. Also of note are records of the Education Foundation, including VHS tapes and other documents about Girls Can! and Girls in the Middle.

There are materials in the collection that contain personal and financial information on individuals. Those files are restricted. Pursuant to University Archives Restricted Records Policy regarding personally identifiable information, the contents of folder Rosters, 2004-2019 may only be accessed onsite within the library at this time.
